Big Apple Bicycle Classic
Prospect Park

Great race this morning.
Joaquin placed 3rd.
Victor, Joaquin, Mark, Lenny, Steven Korff and me lined up for
the fours.
We talked before hand and had a simple plan. Cover early moves,
keep the pressure on, try to launch Joaquin on a late break, perhaps
after a prime.
We sticked to it -- Victor did great, as he was specifically assigned
to cover early moves, and did so perfectly. Korff, Mark, Lenny and
Joaquin himself kept the pace high from the gun and also chased
some attemps.
A prime came, Joaquin is a horse and delivered. He attacked right
after it, a couple of riders went with him and created the winning move.
We rode the race as a team, talked to each other, knew where we were,
and had a handle on most everything that went on.
We can still improve quite a bit, but it sure was fun.
Joaquin, of course, is kick ass super strong, and deserves all the
praise.
cheers,
Eloy
